EHP Detection Kit
Protect your shrimp yield from stunted growth.
The Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP) is a microsporidian parasite that doesn’t lead to mortality of shrimp like other pathogens do.
It rather prevents the growth of the shrimp by weakening the immune system. This leaves you with severe uneven or stunted growth of shrimp and very high feed costs. The only solution for this is pre-screening of EHP in the pond, because there’ll be no physical symptoms of this parasite on the shrimp.
Our EHP detection kit is engineered to detect EHP with exceptional molecular accuracy, enabling farmers to identify the infection in the early stage through frequent tests. This early detection allows choosing the right seeds or post-larvae for production and minimizes the cost of feeding on a compromised crop.
Designed for:
Shrimp like Penaeus vannamei (Pacific White Shrimp), Penaeus monodon (Giant Tiger Prawn), and Macrobrachium rosenbergii (Giant Freshwater Prawn), etc.; live feed like oysters and mussels; and wild carbs.
